I chose to draw the lovely, Lauren O'Bryon, captain of the San Diego Charger Girls!

Despite my beloved Chargers not being in the game, I will probably watch the Super Bowl, mainly for the commercials.  Hope you guys have an awesome Super Bowl weekend!

So I finally got my Cintiq set up in my home office and so I thought I would just mess around and draw something for fun.  Was inspired by Beyonce's video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob7vObnFUJc&ob=av2n and the Avengers of course!  Looking forward to seeing this movie!

My Animation Disc and Desk

End of an era, today I had to pack away my Animation Disc and Desk for storage.  I'm a bit sad to see it go, since I had these bad boys since my last year of CalArts, my first years as a pro at Disney Feature Animation, Nickelodeon and now Pixar...

You can tell this desk was the real deal, it's all scuffed up and well loved!  I even cut the hole in the desk myself to turn this drafting table into an animation desk!

I'm gonna miss you guys, hopefully when my boys inherit you someday they'll create some more awesomeness!

Alcatraz High digital pencils

Here is the digital pencils to Alcatraz High #5!  A quick update,  Miguel and Steve are wrapped!  I finished drawing them to all the interior pages, so now I just gotta draw everything else...

Anyways, it was a blast drawing these guys again,   after a couple years hiatus!  AH#5 is the final book to the story arc, so I am excited getting this story DONE!  Thanks guys for all your love and support!

Working on Alcatraz High#5!

It's been a while since I have posted anything on my blog...

Well, I've been busy at work and trying to get my @ss back in gear to finish up Alcatraz High#5!

On the left is the layouts, completely done (30 pages of awesome!)
On the right is the character drawings.  I tend to draw a character pass first and do a background pass later... I know it's kinda like having dessert first, but hey, whatever it takes to get this comic done!
